Congratulations to the Manitoba women’s fours team of Betty VanWalleghem, Elaine Jones, Betty Grundy, and Tuxedo member/leader Sandra Mulholland. These ladies fought hard against a very tough women’s fours field at the national championships in Burlington, Ontario and brought home a bronze medal for their efforts. Way to go team!
Congratulations to Tuxedo members Alan Curd and Ed Mulholland (skip) who won the Association Open Pairs competition held at our club this weekend. They won all 6 of their round robin games and were the only undefeated team!

Congratulations go out to Tuxedo LBC member Marilyn Baron who, together with her sister Clarice Fitzpatrick, won the provincial pairs competition held at Norwood LBC on the weekend. The ladies completed the tournament with 6 wins, 1 tie and 0 defeats! Well done, ladies! They will now represent Manitoba in the Canadian National competition in August in Burlington, Ontario.
Congratulations to our own Linda and George Ames for defending their 2018 championship in the Non-Carded Bowlers Open Pairs event held at St John’s Lawn bowling club Thursday! They were undefeated – terrific!
Congratulations to Ed Mulholland and Brenda Robinson. At the recent Canadian Mixed Pairs Championship Ed and Brenda put in a bronze medal winning effort to beat an exceptionally good team from New Brunswick. Way to go!
