Bowls Manitoba and it’s volunteer members and clubs are pleased to be hosting two competitive leagues again this summer. As in the recent past that includes a triples league and a singles league. When it comes to fun-competitive bowls it doesn’t get any better than the triples league. Bowlers of all skill levels find it fun, social, and even exciting. The singles game is a bit more of a solitary exercise however. If you are looking for a head-to-head challenge and you want to improve your skills, this is the game for you. The singles league takes place on the artificial green at 1212 Dakota and games are played Tuesday evenings for about 12-14 weeks beginning in May. The triples league is in action Thursday evenings for about 14 weeks covering the same period as the singles league. This league hosts games at various clubs in the city including Tuxedo LBC with the majority of the games being played on the carpet. All bowlers, of all skill levels are welcome to participate. Join up and see for yourself how enjoyable league play can be. For more info, or to join the triples league contact Elaine @ ejones41@shaw.ca For info regarding the singles league please contact Betty or Bob V.
N.B. returning league members have until April 1 to join, after that all entries will be considered on a first-come first-served basis until the cut off date of April 30.
